4th of July Activities at Washington on the Brazos

Join us on Thursday, July 4th, at Washington-on-the-Brazos! We have several fun 4th of July activities planned for the day across our sites.
At 11am, 1pm, and 3pm we will have readings of the American Declaration of Independence and musket salutes on the steps of Independence Hall. There will also be a period baseball game on the Washington Townsite. At Barrington Plantation, period games and a picnic will be held.
Bring your own picnic and enjoy the games. Finally, you can design your own flag that you can take
home with you.
