Event Details

The Downtown Bryan Association invites you to come out to First Friday! Enjoy live music, art and an array of shopping and dining options. This is a free, family friendly event and a great way to enjoy the evening! First Friday, a free event in Downtown Bryan, has become the “must do” activity for residents and tourists alike.

January First Friday Activities:
The Christmas season will be extended in Downtown Bryan beginning with this week’s Jan. 3 First Friday as a film crew begins work on Rekindling Christmas, a movie being co-produced by Bryan native Ashley Martin Atwood, who will also star in the film. The movie will be shot entirely in Bryan, with many of the scenes taking place in Downtown Bryan.

We are encouraging the local community to attend January’s First Friday wearing holiday or cold weather attire while the production crew begins to film scenes to be used in the movie. All normal First Friday activities will take place throughout the evening, including a free concert at the Palace Theater, street musicians, shopping and dining.
