FREE Chamber Music Series

Live music returns to Lake Walk for FREE, outdoor performances presented by the Brazos Valley Symphony Orchestra!  Join us for three concerts on:
  • Saturday, October 17
  • Saturday, October 24, 
  • Saturday, November 7

Outdoors at the Lake Walk Pavilion.

Each concert is free and open to the public to attend. This laid back and informal series is designed to celebrate the arts and provide the community with beautiful music in a safe, outdoor setting. Attendees are encouraged to bring a blanket, pack a picnic, and gather for an evening of music from Maestro Marcelo Bussiki.

First Concert on Saturday, October 17
String Quartet featuring Concertmaster Javier Chaparro
Selections by Haydn and Dvorak
 
Second Concert on Saturday, October 24
Woodwind Quintet from the BVSO Selections by Ibert, Milhaud, Rossini and others
 
Third Concert on Saturday, November 7
Select principal musicians from the BVSO will be performing a very special concert featuring The Soldier’s Tale by Stravinsky chosen by Maestro Marcelo Bussiki especially for this concert.

Please note: Per state issued guidelines, all individuals must wear a face covering (over the nose and mouth) wherever it is not feasible to maintain six feet of social distancing from another individual not in the same household and from others outside of the individual’s group. Individuals may not be in a group larger than 10: a group is defined as no more than 10 persons including members of the household and those persons who traveled together to the event. Masks/facial coverings are required upon entry to The Stella Hotel, Campfire, and POV.
