Event Details

Physics and Engineering Festival is a free public outreach event for ages 3-100. There will be 200+ hands-on science demonstrations in the areas of physics, astronomy, biology, chemistry, math, and engineering. Additional exhibits include a NASA astronaut exhibit, and there will be astronaut talks, Tom Noddy’s Bubble Show, virtual tours of the Large Hadron Collider, a low temperature extravaganza, and Cyclotron Institute tours. The hands-on demonstrations and exhibits end at 3:30pm with a five-barrel depth charge, and a talk by David Saltzberg, science consultant to the hit TV sitcom The Big Bang Theory, will be at 4:00pm.
