Viz-a-GoGo 26 The Science of Visualization Sciences Science Fair

Viz-a-GoGo is an annual showcase hosted by Texas A&M’s Department of Visualization, involving both an exhibition and screening of student work. This event is free and open to the public.

 

This year at Viz-a-GoGo 26: The Science of Visualization Sciences Science Fair, we are celebrating our major’s unique blend of Art and Science!! Come by and see the fruit of the labor produced by Viz students this past school year.

 

Exhibition Venues and Times:

*Viz North Gallery*

May 2 | 2pm – 10pm

May 3 | 12pm – 10pm (First Friday)

May 4 | 10am – 7pm

 

Research Symposium:

*Blackwater Draw*

May 2 | 5pm – 7:30pm

 

Screening:

*Palace Theater*

May 4 | 7:30pm

 

What to Expect:

– Traditional flatwork, sculpture, photography and prints, interactive pieces (VR and gaming), installations, and maybe even more?!

– The Research Symposium is an opportunity for students to share their research in 5 minute increments. This includes MS, MFA, and undergraduate students.

– The screening will present the opportunity to view short films, animations, visual effects projects, class reels, and other time-based work.
