Dusty Neuman is the writer of the hit song, “You Don’t Have To Be Lonely recorded and released by Josh Ward, who took the song to #l on both the TRRR and CDX Traction Texas charts in January 2017. Dusty promptly recorded a short, but impactful song collection of more original music which he released in May 2018: his acclaimed Brighteyes EP. Dusty’s inspired songwriting reflects life in rural southeast Texas where he was born and raised. It’s an environment embodied by a down home, folky character that his music justly portrays. The highly anticipated release of Dusty’s first full length album is set for early 2019. Dusty still calls the small town of his birth “home,” regularly touring Texas and beyond to share his music and natural, good humor with the rest of the world. He is bringing his charm and inspirational abilities to grace our stage, and we are more than honored to have him.

Charlie Weyler is a local artist from Rockdale area featuring country classics from artists such as Hank Williams, Sr. & Jr. Merle, George Jones & Strait, Willie ‘n Waylon plus his own originals. His music covers a wide range from his signature Creekbank Music to Country Blues to Classic Country Gold. Harmonica accompanies his acoustic guitar for a unique sound of his own.

“Franklin, My Dear, We DO Give a Damn”

Smitty K’s is hosting this event as a profit share and will be serving a limited menu of burger, fries and a drink for $10 during the duration of the event. There will be a silent auction from 12-4 pm.

100% of the proceeds raised from the event will go to the people who need it the most, via a special citizens fund set up through the city of Franklin at South Star Bank in Franklin. Anyone unable to attend the event- but wishing to donate to the cause- can make checks payable to South Star Bank with “Tornado Relief Fun” in the memo line and mail to South Star Bank, P.O.
