Astronomy on Tap at The Grand Stafford

On June 12th, please join Astronomy on Tap BCS in celebrating the 20th anniversary of the Chandra X-ray Observatory! Sarah Cantu will give us a rundown of all the cool science Chandra has enabled over the years. Then Tarini Konchady will tell us about the man for which the telescope was named, Subrahmanyan Chandrasekhar. We will also have the usual assortment of trivia (w/ special Chandra-themed prizes), Astronomy in the News by Alexander Riley, and What’s Up by Leo Alcorn.

As always, AoT BCS is FREE and open to all ages! The Grand Stafford bar opens at 6:30pm and the show starts at 7pm. Come listen to astronomers share the wonders of the Universe over a drink!
