Bonnie & Clyde: A Musical Comedy
Presented by the City of Navasota
The City of Navasota is bringing a one night only show of the popular Bonnie & Clyde story by Texas Comedies to Navasota TX this Fall.
The stand-alone show will take place on Saturday September 9, 2023, at 7:30pm at the Brosig Performing Arts center located at 105 Brosig Ave, Navasota TX.
The city has partnered with the Navasota Independent School District (NISD) to ensure the theater performance is a success by utilizing their facilities. The City plans to donate a portion of the funds made from the show back to NISD’s High School Theatre programs.

Navasota’s history runs deep with a connection to the infamous Bonnie and Clyde Story, who was home to Frank Hamer, the City Marshal in the early 1900s, also known as the lawman who later led the 1934 posse that tracked down and killed Bonnie and Clyde.

This “mostly true” one-hour show with a live band is based on postman-turned-deputy Ted Hinton’s memoir, as well as newspaper and crime magazine stories of the 1930s.
