Old-Fashioned 4th of July Celebration

This free community event sponsored by the Brazos Heritage Society features activities for the
whole family including live music, a flag raising and tribute, games, and a children’s parade.

To participate in the children’s parade you can decorate your bike, scooter, wagon, stroller, dog (on a leash, please), or just yourself and join our Parade Leader for a flag-waving procession around the park! We line up for the parade at 10:15 a.m. There will also be exhibitor booths featuring local non-profit organizations. 

We’ll have hotdogs, popcorn, lemonade, and sno-cones for sale at old-fashioned prices, plus free watermelon.
