Avik Khadayat and Noah Johannessen: Aggies Create X Simwerx: AI & ML for Operational Medicine
Avik Khadayat (pictured on left) is pursuing a Bachelor’s in Electrical Engineering and a Master’s in Finance. Noah Johannessen (pictured on right) is pursuing a Bachelor’s in Computer Science. The engineering students from Texas A&M University met through Aggies Create, and are representing them to showcase the partnership with Simwerx this semester. Avik has also recently started a venture called “Vatic Studios”, an engineering firm focused on empowering the future through creativity and engineering excellence.https://
Presentation description: Simwerx believes that every second counts when it comes to saving lives. That’s why they are dedicated to developing innovative solutions that can help to optimize the way that emergency care is delivered. Simwerx has been serving customers nationwide for many years and has a reputation for delivering high-quality products and services that meet the needs of its clients. They have professionals from various fields, including machine learning, computer science, and medical research, all working together to develop innovative solutions that can help save lives.
Through the partnership between Simwerx and Aggies Create, we aim to develop sensor technology with simulation software to help expand the boundaries of medical training, fostering proficiency and readiness for real-world challenges in healthcare. Our goal is to end up with a finished product sensor that uses Simwerx’s REAL-X AI software and sends data to BatDok, an Android application the Defense of Department uses to provide medical charting capabilities. We want to help simplify the process of getting and interpreting data on the battlefield for the Department of Defense.
These presentations are free and open to anyone with an interest in a wide variety of topics such as software development, analytics, and technology.
The Cartel aims to gather passionate developers from Central Texas to share their personal and professional experiences. By creating a space where hackers can interact, the Cartel hopes to grow and maintain a community of curious and passionate developers while fostering and promoting best practices.
