Texas A&M Physics & Engineering Festival

As in years past, no fees or tickets are required for the free annual event, which will feature hands-on demonstrations, keynote talks, a legendary Texas-sized five-barrel depth charge and more!
Texas A&M University invites audiences across Texas, the nation and the world to get up-close and personal with science and technology outreach at the 2024 Physics and Engineering Festival, set for Saturday, April 13, from 10 a.m. to 4:30 p.m. at the George P. Mitchell ’40 Physics Building on the Texas A&M campus.

● 10:30 AM – 3:00 PM CT | Hands-On Science Demonstrations
● 11:00 AM, 12:30 PM, 2:00 PM CT | Science Circus by Rhys Thomas
● 11:30 AM CT | Lecture by Dr. Gregg Chamitoff
● 3:00 PM CT | Grand Finale Depth Charge Explosion
● 3:30 PM CT | Mitchell Lecture by Dr. Beatriz Villarroel
